Glynna Rhetta Curry, age 45 of Vernon, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 in Tampa, Florida. Glynna was born March 26, 1969 in Baytown, Texas to Glynn Simion and Rebecca (Ramsey) Curry. She had been a resident of Vernon for the past six years, coming from Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. Glynna was a homemaker, and was in training to receive her L.P.N. license in order to help other cancer patients. In addition to her family, she loved music, reading, fishing, making scrapbooks and antiquing. She was known for her sense of humor and her giving attitude. She is predeceased by her father, Glynn Simion Curry and her step father, Francis "Pops" Harrison. Survivors include; her mother, Rebecca R. Harrison of Vernon; one son, Blake Clark of Headland, Ala.; one daughter, Courtney Reed and husband Kyle of Crestview, Fla.; two brothers, Glynn Curry of Vernon and Walter Curry of Houma, La.; one sister, Bonzi Register of Dothan, Alabama; one grandson, Joseph Reed; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 5 to 7 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home in Chipley. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 7, 2014 at 11 A.M. at Brown Funeral Home in Chipley with interment following in Glenwood Cemetery in Chipley.
