Glenford Albert Myer, age 89 of Bonifay, FL passed from this life on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at his home.  He was born on March 20, 1935 in Ossining, NY to the late Kenneth Albert Myer and Ina (Griffin) Myer.

Glen has been a resident of the Washington county area for almost 2 years moving from Lecanto, FL. He was a member of the United States Air Force serving in the Korean War.  After his military career he worked as a mechanic and a salesmen for Sears.  He also served many years as a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts and as a Sunday school teacher.  In his time away from work Glen had a passion for fishing and the outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Glen Robert Myer.  Survivors include, his loving wife since 1953 Sylvia (Carlin) Myer, two sons, John Myer and wife Sherry, Rick Myer and wife Kathy, two sisters, Holly Foy, Edna Bixby, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will to honor Glen's life will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Live Oak Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Lanham officiating.
