Martha Geraldine Payne, age 70 of Chipley, Florida, died Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at her residence. She was born June 6, 1942 in Hillsborough County to the late Mr. Joseph Drane and Helen Naomi Griffis. Mrs. Payne was a resident of Chipley for twenty five years coming from Palm Harbor, Florida and was a member of First Baptist Church of Chipley. She was a retired supervisor of the ARC Center in Chipley. Mrs. Payne was survived by three sons; James Payne Jr and wife Renee of Chipley, Florida, David Payne of Chipley, Florida, Joey Payne and wife Sue of Jellico, Tennessee, two sisters; Helen Licalsi of Tampa, Florida, Darlene Snipes of Tampa, Florida, half-sister; Martha Beckworth of Marianna, Florida, three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Sunday, February 10, 2013, from 4 to 6 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 11, 2013, at 1:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel with Reverend Mike Orr officiating.
