Georgia Christell Sapp passed away July 8th, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was the Daughter of the late James Washington Pippin and Georgia Lea Pippin.
Born at home in Washington County, Florida on February 2, 1931 Christell grew up in Washington County, Florida. On October 11, 1951 she married Odis Junior Sapp of Cottondale, Florida. She is preceded in death by an infant Son Terry Sapp and Husband Odis Sapp. Survivors include her Daughter Patricia Ann [Patty] Mears of Ashville, NC, and two Sons; Gary Randolph [Randy] Sapp and wife Annette Sapp of N. Las Vegas, Nevada and Jerry Randall Sapp and wife Sherry Sapp of Lake Toxaway, NC. And Her Sister Louise Corbin of Chipley, Florida, Survivors also includes 9 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Christell will be buried at Sapp Church, Cottondale, Florida. Services will be held at Brown Funeral Home 912 Brickyard Rd. in Chipley on Saturday, July 18, 2009. Visitation is at 9:00 A.M. Home going celebration at 11:A.M. The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions are to be made to the Family Worship Center Church of God Benevolence Fund, 4000 W. Spring Rd. Las Vegas NV. 89108. Where she was a faithful member and worker, helping to feed the hungry in the Las Vegas area.
