George Wayne Adkins, age 68, passed from this life Friday, August 27, 2021 at Northwest Florida Community Hospital. He was born in Holmes County, Florida on April 12, 1953 to George T. and Delma (Land) Adkins. Wayne worked as a Road Grader for Washington County.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter; Tonya Adkins Campbell. Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Linda G. Adkins of Chipley, FL, two daughters; Michelle Watford and husband Chris and Lisa Jenkins and husband Johnathan, his brothers; Gary Adkins and Greg Adkins and wife Jackie, his sister; Libby Garrett, 5 grandchildren; Jessica Campbell, Nevaeh Jenkins, Kayla Roberts, Tyler Roberts, and Rayna Jenkins, and 3 great grandchildren; Rory Davis, Trace Rowland and Wyatt Rowland.

Funeral Service for Wayne will be held 2:00 P.M., Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery in Bonifay, FL. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Reverend Rich Elligson will be officiating.
