Geneva Ingram Austin, age 95 of Vernon, FL passed from this on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at her home.  She was born on February 7, 1930 in St. Clair County, AL to the late Hubert and Edna (Brown) Ingram.

Geneva worked in the Holmes County School system as a teacher until her retirement.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Gene Austin, two sons, Dewey "Jerry" Austin, Gregory "Greg" Austin, two brothers, Raymond Ingram, Edward Ingram and one sister, Phyllis Howard.

Survivors include, one daughter, Sherry Austin Hard of Gulf Port, MS, seven grandchildren, Terri Austin and husband Chris Lee, Shane Hard and wife Stephanie, Heather Austin, Richard Austin, Jeremy Hard, Alyssa Austin, Colleen Austin, eight great grandchildren,  Scessalie Austin Oglesby and husband Kevin, Slayde Austin, Anders Hard, Jerryd Brown, Jace Brown, Josh Brown, Andrew Wild and Jacob Wild, one great great grandson, Hunter Oglesby and one daughter in law, Melinda Austin.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 15th, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 10:30 A.M with the Funeral Service to follow at 11:30 A.M.  Interment will be held at Unity Baptist Cemetery.
