Fred L. Morris, age 78, passed from this life Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Washington County Rehab and Nursing Center. He was born in Holmes county on September 5, 1933 to Russell and Inez (Wells) Morris. Mr. Morris was self-employed baker and was of the Baptist faith. He has lived here for the past 30 years coming from Lake Placid, Florida. Mr. Morris is preceded in death by one daughter Teresa Morris and one brother James Edward Morris. He is survived by his wife Jeanette Morris of Slocomb, Al. One son Curtis Tony Morris and wife Eddie of Lake Placid, Fl. 3 brothers Cecil Morris of Chipley, Fl., Tommy Morris and wife Mildred of Chipley, Fl., and Richard Morris and wife Brenda of Graceville and 2 grandchildren, Jason and Justin Morris. Funeral service will be held 2pm Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Owen officiating. Internment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service.
