Frances M. Stevens, age 75 of Chipley, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 in the Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center in Tallahassee. Frances was born November 27, 1937 in Chipley to the late Clessie and Emma (Exum) McDaniel. She had been a life-long resident of Chipley. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a son, John Stevens Jr., who passed away in October of this year. Frances loved and lived for her family and God. Survivors include: her husband of 52 years, John Stevens, Sr. of Chipley; one daughter, Michelle Stevens of Tallahassee; and one brother, Hulon McDaniel of Chipley. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel in Chipley, with the Rev. Alfred Long officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Memorialization will be by cremation.
