Florence Marie Helton, age 53 of Chipley, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 in the Northwest Florida Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Florence was born March 25, 1958 in Pensacola, Florida to Lewis and the late Inez (Day) Boyett. She had been a resident of Chipley for the past eleven years, coming from Pensacola. She was a homemaker and was of Baptist faith. Survivors include; her father, Lewis Boyett of Chipley; her husband, Michael Helton of Chipley; two sons, Michael Helton Jr. of Vernon and Timothy Boyett of Chipley; two daughters, Janie Helton and Doris Helton both of Chipley; two brothers, Daniel Boyett of Pensacola and Anthony Boyett of Altona Pennsylvania; two sisters, Michell Boyett of Foley, Ala. and Mary Whitehead of Cantonment, Fla.; grandchildren, Shantel Helton, Tavares Ward, Latrell Hogan, Michael Helton III, Ann Helton and Tori Weaver. Memorialization will be by cremation.
