Father Izidorius Gedvila, age 92, passed from this life Saturday, July 26, 2014 at his residence. Father Izidorius was born in Luthunia on January 2, 1922 to Benedict and Stefanija (Bukauskaite) Gedvila. He had been a Priest for many years for the Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree and St. Teresa Catholic Church. Father Izidorius has lived here since 1988 coming from Providence, RI. The Mass will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at St. Teresa Catholic Church. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations will be made to the Mass at St. Teresa Catholic Church. Brown Funeral Home of Chipley is in charge of the arrangements.
