Fannie C. Tisdale, age 87 of Chipley, FL went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.  She was born on August 23, 1931 to the late George and Pearly (Neese) Giles in Escambia County, AL.

Fannie loved to sing and sang for many years as part of The Old Fashion Quartet. She met her husband at a sing at Robertsdale Assembly. It should be no surprise that they later owned a singer store.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Cubert Tisdale;  and two sons: Ronald Tisdale and John Tisdale.  Survivors include her daughters: Diann T.Morris and husband Robert of Graceville, FL, Patricia Howard of Winter Haven, FL, Connie Tisdale and Aaron Holmes of Auburndale, FL;   her grandchildren: Chelsey Johnson, Brey Holmes, Angie Newcomb, Steven Howard, Rebecca Flannery, Caitlyn Flannery, Sammy Tisdale, and Ron Tisdale;  great-grandchildren: Aspen and Maddox Johnson, Matthew Kennison, Hannah and Dylan Newcomb, Andrew Popchock, Austin Howard, Callen Christie, Brinkley Burke, Calla Tisdale, Kira and Kaylee Tisdale, and Sean Martin; and a host of treasured nieces, nephews, and precious friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-4:00 P.M. on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Brown Funeral Home of Chipley, FL.  A Memorial Service will follow with Reverend Buddy Shumaker officiating.  On Saturday, May 18, 2019 a Funeral Service will be held in Robertsdale, AL at First Assembly of God Church at 3:00 P.M. with a visitation being held from 2:00-3:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Rock Cemetery in Robertsdale, AL.
