Evelyn P. Turnage, age 59, passed from this life Thursday, June 10, 2021 at her home. She was born in Bay County, Florida on November 14, 1961 to Roland and Peggy Ann (Shumaker) Pettis. Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Washington County and a member of Wausau Assembly of God Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Victor Turnage III and her parents. Evelyn is survived by her brother; Robert Earl Pettis and wife Peggy, her two sisters; Naomi Canoy and husband Tom and Teresa Weathers and husband Mike, along with her nieces, nephews and grandkids.

Funeral service for Evelyn will be held 10:00A.M. Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Wausau Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Danny Jackson and Rev. Roger Dale Hagan officiating. Interment will follow in the Barfield Cemetery.  Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
