Obituary
Evelyn Bass Heisler (better known as Hiddie), born Nov. 6, 1928, to Annie Stokes Bass and John Henry Bass, passed from this life April 13, 2016.
She is probably best known for her role as Asst. Manager of the Piggly Wiggly in Chipley, for 35 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Uley Bass, Gene Bass, and Neal Bass.
She is survived by a sister, Catherine Bass McCrary of Chipley and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services, with Rev. Cloys Joyner officiating and special speaker William Earl "Bill" Waddell, will be held at Glenwood Cemetery in Chipley, FL, at 3 P.M. on Saturday, April 16, 2016, with a visitation service at 2 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel, with Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family has requested that no flowers be sent at this time.
