Eva Mae McKinnie Joiner, age 86, passed from this life on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at her home. She was born in Sebring, Florida on May 9, 1938 to John Wesley Thomas McKinnie and Bessie Charlottee (Godwin) McKinnie.

She grew up in the nearby town of Lake Placid. On October 8, 1957 she married Cloys Joiner where they made a beautiful life together. She was a loving wife, mother and granny. She was also a pastor's wife who devoted her life to serving God and was a true prayer warrior.

She was preceded in death by her parents, mother and father-in-law Evelyn and OD Joiner; grandson Brett Bell; sisters Myrtle Pollard (Sidney), Irene Pollard (Lewis), Mildred Waldron (Buster) and Pansy Cliff (Johnnie); brothers Wesley McKinnie and Willie McKinnie (Cecelia).

She leaves behind her husband of 67 years, Cloys Joiner, two children Vivian Perkins (Hubert) and Curby Joiner; three grandchildren Jennifer Bell, April Johnson (David) and Will Perkins (Katrina); eight grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 with visitation at 2:00 P.M. and service at 3:00 P.M. at Faith Covenant Fellowship Church with Rev. Robert Walker and Rev. Wayne Brannon officiating. Graveside service will follow at Rock Hill Cemetery.
