Euna Mae Carter, age 87 of Wausau, FL went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 10, 2015. Mae was born on March 16, 1928 in Daleville, AL to the late Shelton and Dora (Quattlebum) Watford. She is a lifelong resident of the Wausau area and was a member of the Wausau Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mae is preceded in death by her loving husband J.D. Carter. Survivors include two sons, Gary Smith of Micanopy, FL and Stanley Smith of Indianapolis, IN, one step son Mike Carter, three grandchildren and two step grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, October 15 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend James Barwick officiating. A private interment will follow at the Wausau Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing.
