Eugene Rodgers passed from this life February 3, 2022 at his home. He was born in Coffee County, Alabama on November 26, 1937 to James M. and Jewel M. (Walton) Rodgers. Eugene was a Truck Driver by trade.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife; Geraldine Rodgers, 3 brothers; Melvin Rodgers, Hollis Rodgers, and Buford Rodgers and his sister; Evie Jackson. Eugene is survived by his wife; Nancy Rodgers, his sons; Earl Rodgers and wife Carol and Richard Rodgers and wife Margaret, his daughter; Linda Gail Jasso and husband Alex, and his step-daughter; Melissa (Lisa) Murphy, his grandchildren; Anita Ward, Alexander Jasso and wife Marlana, Jessica Jasso and fiancé Jesse, Paul Jasso and wife April, Scott Jasso and Andrew Rodgers, his great grandchildren; Seth Ward, Sydney Ward, Sara Gibson, Sierra Gibson, Lilana Sandoval, Sebastian Sandoval, Brayden Wilson, and Luke Rodgers.

Funeral service will be held 2:00P.M., Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Calvary Hill Pentecostal Church with Rev. Tim Bush officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-7P.M., Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
