Ethel Stacey Long, age 89, passed from this life June 17, 2022. She was born in Deer Range, Alabama on September 14, 1932 to George A. Stacey and Nathalee Hobbs. Ethel worked as a seamstress at a sewing factory.

She is preceded by her two husbands; Herman Richard Padgett and George Long, her parents and one son; Herman Ray Padgett. Ethel was survived by her two children; Cynthia Ann Doran and Rosa Padgett Matthijetz, 7 grand children: Donovan, Amanda, Pamela, Jennifer, Stephanie, Michael and Staci, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the New Bethany Assembly of God Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
