Esther Mary Reno, age 87 of Vernon, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010. Mrs. Reno was born July 24, 1923 in Bay County to the late William Marion and Maud Lavador (Russ) Tucker. She had been a resident of Washington County most of her life, where she was a homemaker and member of the Holmes Valley Community Church. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, William H. Reno; two brothers, Ralph and Bill Tucker and a sister, Etta Mae Tharp. Survivors include; one son, Marvin Reno and wife Judy of Wausau; one daughter, Shirley Waters and husband Alvin of Tampa; one sister, Lois Brock of Vernon; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday November 24, 2010 from 1 to 2 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home, Main Street with the Rev. Robert Tharp and Rev. Myra Jones officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery.
