Emma J. Hysmith, age 82, passed from this life Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab Center in Bonifay, FL. She was born in Chipley, FL on April 6, 1942 to Houston and Eva Jackson. Emma was a homemaker for her family.

She is preceded by her parents, her husband; Fillmore Hysmith and her brother; Harold Hysmith. Emma is survived by her sons; Jeff Hysmith, Robert Hysmith, Kenneth Hysmith, Denis Hysmith, and Martin Hysmith, her daughter; Betty Hysmith, her brothers; Ronald Jackson, Ervin Jackson and Thomas Jackson, and her sister; Brenda Jackson.

Funeral arrangements will be held 11:00A.M., January 31, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Rock Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 10:00A.M.
