Obituary
Ellis Franklin Floyd Sr., age 86 of Chipley passed from this life on November 5, 2016 at his home. He was born on July 6, 1930 to the late William Franklin Floyd and Litha Jane (Whelus) Floyd.
Ellis is a lifelong resident of Washington County and he was a mechanic by trade. He was also a member of Faith Covenant Church.
Ellis is survived by his loving wife, Maggie Floyd of Chipley, FL, two sons, Herman Floyd and wife Judy of Cottondale, FL, Ellis F. Floyd "Pete" of Cottondale, FL, one daughter, Diane Braxton and husband Kenneth of Cottondale, FL, two sisters, Mattie Penny and Willie Myrl Davis, seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home with Reverend Cloys Joiner officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be held at Sapp Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing
