Ellis C. Boone, age 88, of Chipley, FL passed from this life on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at his home.  He was born on September 30, 1933 to the late Bernard and Nell (Wall) Boone in Loxley, AL.

Ellis served in and retired from the United States Coast Guard.  He has been a resident here for the past 13 years moving from Milton, FL.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Dorothy Boone.  Survivors include, two sons, Eric Boone of Montgomery, AL, Coley Boone of Chipley, FL, one daughter, Audrey Nedeau and husband John of Tallahassee, FL and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends for Visitation on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Brown Funeral Home starting at 2:30 P.M.  Interment will be held Privately at Bayview Memorial Park in Pensacola, FL.
