Elizabeth Jessie Pelham, age 85, passed from this life Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Washington County Rehab and Nursing Center in Chipley, FL. She was born in Langdon, New Hampshire on January 19, 1929 to Robert and Ruth (Reed) Hurd. Elizabeth was a supervisor of house-keeping for a ski resort and has lived in Chipley, FL since 1995 coming from Greenhead, FL. She was a member of New Orange Baptist Church. Mrs. Pelham was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Jay Pelham. She is survived by her son Charles Welch of Maryland, 3 step-sons Steve Pelham of Orlando, FL, Brad Pelham and Brian Pelham of Mississippi. 3 daughters Brenda Evans, Vickie Morton and Linda Welch all of New Hampshire. 2 step-daughters Brenda Johnson of Englewood, FL and Clarise Pelham of Fort Myers, FL. 1 brother Jack Hurd of California. 1 sister Ethel Moulton of FL. 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
