Elaine Senterfitt, age 65, of Chipley, passed from this life Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Bay Medical Center Hospital. Elaine was born in Chipley, FL on March 18, 1949 to Earnest Broward and Ibra (Newsome) Ferguson. She was a homemaker and caregiver to several family members including her aunt, Jessie Owens. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Eddie Senterfitt and one brother Earnest Ferguson, Jr. Survivors include: her son, Scott Senterfitt of Chipley, FL. One daughter Leslie Mangus and husband George of Fairhope, AL. One brother John Earl Ferguson of Pensacola, FL, and two grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, October 3, 2014 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home in Chipley. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Patton officiating. Interment will follow in the Ferguson Cemetery near Wausau. Flowers may be sent or contributions may be made to help cover transplant costs for Ansley Mangus (Elaine's granddaughter). Donations may be sent to Fairhope Elementary School, 408 N.
