Eileen Barfield, age 77 of Lake Helen, Florida, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2013 in Deland, Florida surrounded by her loving family. Eileen was born September 21, 1935 in Albany, Georgia to the late George W. and Rosell (Veasey) Barfield. She was a resident of Chipley, Florida since 1985 coming from Miami, Florida. Mrs. Eileen was predeceased by her fiancé Gary Fisher and a one brother, George A. Barfield. She is survived by two sons; John Dempsey of Lake Helen, Florida, Michael Eugene Dempsey of Chipley, Florida, one daughter; Susan Denise Wierzbicbi of Orange City, Florida, three brothers; Johnny Barfield, Larry Barfield, Oscar Barfield of Chipley, Florida, Three sisters; Margaret Peak of Chipley, Florida, Kathleen Giddiens of Chipley, Florida, Debbie Cannon of Milton Florida, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Brown Funeral Home Main Street Chapel. Brown Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
