Edna M. Sasser, age 90 of Chipley, FL passed away Sunday, June 7, 2015. Edna was born on October 24, 1924 in Graceville, FL to the late Dempsey and Merica (Shiver) Watford. She has been a lifelong resident of the Chipley area and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chipley. Edna is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Hubert Harry Sasser, one daughter, Helen Sasser, three brothers, Dempsey Watford, Ed Watford, David Watford, three sisters, Eunice Birge, Nellie Everett, and Ruby Farmer. Survivors include, one daughter, Ellen M. Rowell of Marianna, FL, three grandchildren, Michael Rowell and wife Amy, Marie Rowell and Helen Gaut, ten great grandchildren, Kayla, Hanna, Mason, Kaci, Emma, Cheyanne, Taylor, Anna, Miranda and Josh, two sisters, Verna Wachob and Mary Myrick. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 9:30 A.M. at Glenwood Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing. Family will receive friends for visitation starting at 9:00 A.M. at the Graveside.
