Edna P. Chestnut, age 79 of Chipley, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 in the Washington Rehab and Nursing Center in Chipley. Edna was born January 20, 1933 in Holmes County to the late Eddie W. and Ruth Elizabeth (Johnson) Usery. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Chipley for the past 10 years, coming from Holmes County. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, James Chestnut, a brother, Donald Eugene Usery, and two sisters, Edna Merle Pettis and Zelda Rhodes. Survivors include; two sons, Bruce Usery of Bainbridge, Georgia and Kenneth Chestnut of Chipley, Florida; one sister, Ruth Baxter of Chipley; four grandchildren, Adam, Terry, Wendy and Kyle; six grandchildren, Brittany, Katlin, Briar, Justin, Tyler and Chandler. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel in Chipley with the Rev. Ernest Dupree and Sister Debbie Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery
