Edith Bell Bishop, age 81 of Chipley, passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 in the Southeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Dothan. Edith was born January 1, 1933 in Charleston, Illinois to the late John and Jessie (Woodyard) Wilson. She was a former assembly technician working in electronics and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Chipley. In addition to her family, she loved gardening. She is predeceased by: her husband, Byron Bishop. Survivors include; two sons, Gary Owen of Chipley and Mark Owen and wife Dianne of Aiken, S.C.; two daughters, Jackie White of Chipley and Pamela Helton of Palm City, Florida; one brother, Fred Wilson of Charleston, Illinois; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 27, at 2:00 P.M. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Chipley. Memorialization will be by cremation.
