Earnestine Miller, age 81 of Chipley, FL passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Earnestine was born April 14, 1933 to the late J.R. and Connie (Davis) Mainer in Chipley, FL. Mrs. Miller served as clerk of the circuit court for Washington County. She is a lifelong resident of the Washington County area and is a member of the First United Methodist Church of Vernon, FL. Earnestine was a member of the Eastern Star and taught Sunday School for her church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Miller Sr., two sons, Ronald Miller Jr. and John Randal "Randy" Miller, one brother, Cecil Mainer. Survivors include, three sisters, Louise Walker of Pensacola, FL, Sybil Taylor of Chipley, FL, Irma Joyner Haddock of Chipley, FL, two grandchildren, Justin and Amber, one great grandchild, Ava, longtime friend, Harold Sapp of Vernon, FL and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at First United Methodist Church of Vernon, FL with Reverend Ron Alderman and Reverend Roger Dale Hagan officiating. Visitation will be held one at prior to service time. Interment will follow at the Hard Labor Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing.
