Earl Moody, age 61 of Alford, Fla., passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 at his home. Earl was born November 8, 1949 in Cottonwood, Alabama to the late John Tom and Mattie (Blackmon) Moody. He had been a resident of Alford for the past 10 years, coming from Cottondale, Florida and was a former truck driver for West Florida Gas. Survivors include; two sons, Earl Moody and wife Carrie of Bascom, Fla. and Richard Moody of Alford; three brothers, Robert Moody of Lynn Haven, Fla., William Moody of Alford, Fla. and Danny Moody of Lake City, Fla.; three sisters, Pearl Newsome of Chipley, Annie Vannest of Lynn Haven and Donnie Baker of Riverbank, California and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the graveside in Alford City Cemetery.
