Dwight W. Jones Sr., age 89 of Chipley, FL passed from this life on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Doctors Memorial Hospital in Bonifay, FL.  He was born on June 5, 1931 in Baker County, FL to the late Dana Jones and Maude (Fraser) Jones.

Dwight served in the United States Navy and was also the Vice President of Production at American Coolair in Jacksonville, FL.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Edsell Jones and sister, Carolyn Adkins.  Survivors include, his loving wife, Merle Jones of Chipley, FL, three sons, Charles D. Jones of Macclenny, FL, Dwight W. Jones Jr. and wife Amy of Jacksonville, FL, Rowe D. Jones and wife Kimberly of Seminary, MS, brother, Winsell S. Jones of Hilliard, FL, seven grandchildren, Alan Jones, Meghan Jones, Scott Jones, Amanda Jones, Christopher Jones, Camellia Jones and Jeremiah Jones.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Macclenny, FL with Reverend Johnny Ellis officiating at 1:00 P.M. Central Standard Time.
