Dorothea L. Ephlin, age 89, passed away on April 16, 2015 at Southeast Medical Center in Dothan, AL. She was the daughter of J.B. Ephlin Sr. and Lillian M. Barker Canoy. She was preceded in death by one sister, one brother and both parents. She is survived by one daughter, Donna S. Thompson of Lake Placid, FL, one son, James E. Ephlin of Wilmington, OH, three brothers, J.B. Ephlin Sr. of Ft. Worth, TX, Thomas E. Canoy of Chipley, FL, and Joe Canoy of Cottondale, FL, two grandsons, Terry E. Thompson of Lake Placid, FL, Shane E. Ephlin of Jackson, OH, 4 great grandchildren Steven and Sarah Thompson of Lake Placid, FL and Madison Marie Ephlin and David James Ephlin of Jackson,OH and many nieces and nephews. Dorothea was retired from Abbott Laboratories of Ashland, OH and has lived in Florida since 1991. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday April 17, 2015 at Glenwood Cemetery in Chipley, FL.
