Rev. Doris E. Dean, age 87 of Chipley, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 in Washington Rehab and Nursing. Doris was born February 8, 1927 in Argyle, Florida to the late Ruben and Minnie Lee (Hydle) Savins. She had served many years as pastor in the Living Word of Faith Ministries and had been a real estate broker with Century 21 realtors. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Clarence E. Dean. Survivors include; one son, Craig Dean and wife Stacey of Nashville, TN; three daughters, Carolyn Carr and husband Martin of Panama City, Florida, Vicki Fallis and husband Gene of Panama City and Janet Sublett of Chipley; ten grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home in Chipley. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with the Rev. Elton Haddock and Rev. Debbie Williams officiating. Graveside services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. in Greenwood Cemetery in Panama City. Brown Funeral Home of Chipley is in charge of the arrangements
