Donna Lynn (Retherford) Broxton , age 51 of Chipley, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 in Panama City. Donna was born June 13, 1960 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida to Billy and Beatrice (Coursey) Retherford. She was a former receptionist at Chipley High School and was a member of the Hurricane Creek Baptist Church in Westville. Survivors include: her parents, Billy and Beatrice Retherford of Westville; her husband, Mark Broxton of Chipley; one daughter, Julia Nichole Broxton of Chipley; one brother, Hal Retherford and wife Virginia of South Port, Fla.; two sisters, Maria Moring of Westville and Stacy Pitts and husband Chance of Westville; one granddaughter, who was the love of her grandmother's life, Savannah Broxton of Chipley. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, November 22, 2011 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Sorrell's Funeral Home in Geneva, Alabama. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with the Rev. Joel Glenn officiating. Interment will follow in Beulah Anna Baptist Church near Westville. Brown Funeral Home of Chipley is in charge of the arrangements.
