Don M. Wyatt, 74, of Chipley, Florida, passed away January 14, 2021 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna following a brief illness.

Don was born July 12,1946 in Decaturville, TN to Clifford and Louise Wyatt. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1966 where he served as an Atomic Demolition Munitions Specialist until his Honorable Discharge in 1969.

Don would later move to Chipley, where he would dedicate 30 years of service as a lineman for Bellsouth before retiring in 2001. Don was a member of the Orion Lodge #40 of Free and Accepted Masons in Chipley and was known in the community for his quick wit and willingness to lend a hand.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Darlene Wyatt of Chipley, FL; one daughter, Tabitha Morris (Dow) of Chipley, FL; and two sons, Shane Wyatt (Carol) of Chipley, FL and Micheal Wyatt of Corinth, MS; and one sister, Barbara Sharp of Montgomery, TX. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

At Don's request, cremation was chosen, and no services will take place at this time. A private family service will be held at a later date for interment at a family cemetery in Tennessee.
