Mr. Derwood George Miller, 89, Cottondale, Florida passed away on Friday, October 22, 2010 at his home in Cottondale, Florida. He was born on May 17, 1921 in New York. Mr. Miller was veteran of the United States Navy during WWI. He is survived by his Sons: Derwood Miller, Jr., Nedro, New York, Walter Miller, Cottondale, Florida and Charles Miller, Cottondale, Florida. One Step-Daughter: Linda Ashley, Kynesville, Florida. Step-Sons: David Myers, Syracuse, New York, Dan Ashley, Syracuse, New York and Paul Miller, Syracuse, New York, 23 Grandchildren, many, many Great Grandchildren and many, many Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 26, 2010 in at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel, Chipley, Florida with the Rev. Jackie Register and Rev. Kelvin Burns officiating. Interment will follow in the Wachob-Forest Lawn Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing. The Visitation will be from 6 until 8 P.M. on Monday, October 25, 2010 at Brown Funeral Home, Brickyard Road Chapel.
