Debrann Brooks, age 57, passed from this life Thursday, January 26, 2017 at her home. She was born in Gainesville, FL to Douglas B. and Dorothy "Porter" Brooks. Debrann has lived here since 2010 coming from Jacksonville, FL. She worked as a Wildlife Specialist in Clay County and she greatly supported the boy scout troops that her nephew was a part of. Debrann is survived by her mother; Dorothy Brooks of Chipley, FL. One brother; Doug Brooks II of Hong Kong, China. One sister; Dana Brooks of Chipley, FL. Two nieces; Brittany and Mickenzie, one nephew; Brayden and many aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held 11:00A.M., Friday, January 27, 2017 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Spangenberg officiating. Visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to service. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
