Debra D. Plante, 54, of Chipley, Florida passed from this life on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Plante was born on March 7, 1956 in Bonifay, Florida to John and Mary (Sowell) Hancock. She had resided in Chipley, Florida for past 2 years coming from Panama City, Florida Mrs. Plante is preceded in death by her sister Mary Joan Hancock. Survivors include her husband Dunbar Plante, Chipley, Florida. One Son: Tracy Kyser and wife Jodi, Chipley, Florida. One Daughter: Kali Carr, Chipley, Florida. 2 Step-Sons: Dundee Houston, Bellprei, Ohio, Kyle Plante, Corapeake, Virginia. One Step-Daughter: Chelsey Plante, Corapeake, Virginia. 1 Brother: Jimmy Hancock and wife Sonya, Panama City, Florida. 1 Sister: Johnnie Renee Martin, Chipley, Florida. 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Candlelight service will be held at 6:30 P.M. on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010 at the home on 1196 Plum Avenue, Chipley, Florida with the Rev. James Barwick officiating.
