Obituary
David Henry Shipes Jr., age 46 of Vernon, FL went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 2, 2016. David was born on May 13, 1969 to the late David Sr. and Patricia (Coatney) Shipes in Graceville, FL.
He was a lifelong resident of the Vernon area and was a church member of Calvary Hill in Vernon.
David is survived by one sister, Jeanie Shipes of Vernon, FL, two nieces, two nephews, and two great nieces.
Family will receive friends for visitation from 9:00-11:00 A.M. May 7, 2016 at Calvary Hill Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Calvary Hill Pentecostal Church with Reverend Tim Bush officiating. Interment will follow at the New Hope Methodist Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing.
