David Gene Richardson, age 72 of Wausau, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at his home. A native of Springfield, Fla., he had been a resident of Wausau for the past 21 years, coming from Orlando, Fla. Mr. Richardson had retired as a Master Sergeant from the U.S. Army, and was of Protestant faith. Survivors include his wife; Shirley J. Richardson of Wausau, one Son; Brian Richardson of Atlanta, Ga., one Daughter; Robin Richardson of Orlando, Fla., one Brother; Jack Richardson of Albany, Kentucky, one Step-Son; Jeff Anderson of Panama City, one Step-Daughter; Ashley Anderson of Wausau and 2 Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 26th, at 2:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Hall and Rev. Joe Kirkland officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 P.M. prior to services. Interment will follow in Wausau Memorial Gardens. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
