Colleen C. (Boots) Roberts, age 84 of Chipley, passed away Saturday February 9, 2012 in the Sea Breeze Health Care Facility in Panama City, Florida. Colleen was born November 22, 1928 in Bruce, Florida to the late Noah and Inez Cook. A homemaker, she had been a resident of Chipley for the past 10 years. Coleen enjoyed the outdoors but her life centered on her family. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by; her husband, Richard James Roberts, a daughter, Karen Cranford and a sister, Iduma (Cookie) Rexrode. Survivors include; two sons, Richard Roberts and wife Nikki of Wewahitchka, Fla., James T. Roberts and Tammie of Chipley; two daughters, Debbie Dozier of Wewahitchka, Julie Dunkleberger and husband Ron of Panama City Beach, Florida; one sister, Bobbie Jean Cook of Panama City, Florida; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the graveside in Greenwood Cemetery in Panama City, with the Rev. Mike Young officiating.
