Clare Annie Griffin, age 73 of Chipley, FL passed from this life Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at her home. She was born June 9, 1941 to the late Charlie and Opal (Lones) Morgan in Cleveland, TN. Clare has been a resident of the Chipley area since 1968 and she is a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Chipley. Clare is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Griffin Sr. Survivors include her five children, Bobby Lee Griffin of Chipley, FL, Elizabeth Clarice Griffin of Chipley, FL, Robert Griffin Jr. of Chipley, FL, Mary Ruth Griffin of Chipley, FL, Angeline Griffin Reaves of Ocala, FL, four grandchildren, Corine Nichole Sterling, Kendra Danielle Grimes, Charlie Robert Grimes, Aaron Phillip Reaves, seven great grandchildren, Julian Grimes, Damien Sterling, Eugene Grimes, Leondra Grimes, Cora Grimes, Jessie Griffin, Sylvester Franklin, one brother, Franklin Morgan. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 20, 2015 at Church of God of Prophecy in Chipley, FL with Reverend Ernest Dupree officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will follow at the Wachob Forest Lawn Cemetery with Brown Funeral Home directing.
