Clara Sewell, age 90, passed from this life Friday, November 20, 2015 at Washington County Convalescent Center. She was born in Marianna, Florida on March 11, 1925 to Gabe and Ida (Freeman) Stephens. She worked for Jones Greenhouse in Panama City, Fl. Clara has lived in Vernon, FL for the past 50 years coming from West Bay, FL. She was a member of the Bonnett Pond Church then moved her membership to Live Oak Baptist Church due to moving closer to family. Clara is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers and sisters, two grandsons Farren Sewell and Kenny Pippin, and one son-in-law Aubrey Pippin. She is survived by her husband Ernest Sewell of Vernon, FL. Three sons Glenn Sewell and wife Patti of Graceville, FL, Ernie Sewell and wife Cynthia of Southport, FL and Ricky Sewell and wife Susie of Vernon, FL. Two daughters Jeanette Pippin and her late husband Aubrey of Greenhead, FL and Francis Yates and husband Cecil of Vernon, FL. One sister-in-law Betty Sewell. 11 Grandchildren, Bobby Sewell, Andy Pippin and wife Vickie, Randy Pippin and wife Amanda, Becky Owens and husband Larry, Tim Pippin, Kay McDonald and husband Dexter, Gary Sewell and wife Amanda, Erick Sewell and wife Micah, Wendy Lipham, Janie Yates, and Coleman Yates. 16 Great grandchildren, Tyler, Justin, Caleb, Zachary, Austin, Hope, Lorelai, Katy, Amanda, Meghan, Truin, Ethan, Joshua, Marissa, Brianna, and Brittany. Two great great grandchildren and one dog Peanut. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Live Oak Baptist Church with the Reverend Tim Lanham and Reverend Leon Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at the Live Oak Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service.
