Christine Ann
Guyer
July 20, 1967 – May 28, 2026
Christine Ann Guyer, born July 20, 1967, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away on May 28, 2026, in Chipley, Florida. She wasn’t just another face behind the bar—Christine was a favorite bartender across numerous local spots like La Que, Sam's, Chainsaws, Norma Jean's, Ray's Place, and The Cat's eye. Wherever she worked, she brought her unique spark—no-nonsense but full of heart.
Christine was a bona fide badass biker chick who loved nothing more than the roar of Harley Davidson motorcycles. The open road called to her soul, but when she wasn’t chasing horizons on two wheels, she found peace with the sand between her toes. Holmes Creek was her favorite haven, more sacred than any bar stool she’d ever claimed.
Her greatest love was her family—her children and grandchildren meant everything to her. She leaves behind an army of loved ones who carry her fierce spirit: her son Tommy Slavin and his fiance Ryan Gordon; her son Waylon Guyer; her daughter Kera Slavin and husband Josh Pittman; her daughter Whisper Guyer; her daughter Shannon Meadows and her husband Steve Meadows. Her legacy also rides on through her grandchildren—Emmett, Fyn, Enzo, Safeara, Serenity, Malachi, Devon, Dylan, and Damian—each one a testament to the life force she poured into this world.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, Ron Cotter and Theresa Branham Cotter, who helped shape the woman who lived life on her own terms.
She lived loud, loved harder, and left an imprint that won’t fade. Christine Ann Guyer—forever a badass, forever wild, forever missed.
A Mother's love
"A love like mine was born to shine,
a diamond in rubble for all of time.
I hold your hand and guide you on,
throughout this life 'til you grow strong.
Your heart will miss me when I'm not here,
but I promise you I'm always near.
You love me so, but I love you more.
My love stretches from shore to shore.
A mom like me is always proud of you,
to know I've taught you to perfect
all of the things you do.
Please don't cry when I go away,
For in your heart, I'll Always stay"
