Chris Vanvorous, age 54, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 at his residence in Sunny Hills, Fl. Mr. Vanvorous was born in Libertyville, IL on December 25, 1959 to Daniel Joseph and Regina Mae (Coronie) Vanvorous. He was a heavy equipment operator for Yates Construction Company in Panama City, Fl. Chris has lived in Sunny Hills, FL. for the past 6 years coming from Panama City, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Vanvorous is survived by his wife Tia Vanvorous of Loris, SC. 4 sons: Matthew Longwell of Hinesville, GA, Adam Vanvorous of Naples, FL, Ezekiel Sammons of Loris, SC, and Gabriel Sammons of Loris, SC. 1 daughter: Lia Sammons of Loris, SC. He had many brothers and sisters and 2 grandchildren. A special service for Chris will be held at a later date and memorialization will be by cremation.
