Chellie H. Barnes, 78, passed from this life on August 7, 2015 in Dothan, AL. She was born in Samson, AL on February 9, 1937, to Jerry and Mittie Whittaker Hall. She was a resident of Dothan, AL for nearly 20 years and was previously a resident to Chipley, FL. Chellie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Remer Barnes, and two sons; Larry Campbell and Gary Campbell. She is survived by one daughter, Cora Hinds of Dothan, AL, one son, Dennis Campbell of Union City, TN, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 10:00am at Red Hill Cemetery in Esto, FL, on Monday August 10, 2015 with Rev. Dwain Harris officiating and Brown Funeral Home directing.
