Charlotte Vogel, 85, of Chipley, Florida, passed away after a long illness at the Washington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Chipley, Florida on June 15 ^th , 2020.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held later at Grace and Glory Worship Center, Chipley, Florida.

Charlotte was predeceased by her loving husband, William Vogel, of 64 years.  Much loved mother of Steven and his wife Carol, of Phoenix, Arizona; Richard and his wife Kim, of Halfmoon, New York; and Barbara (Love) and her husband Dennis, of Chipley, Florida.  Cherished grandmother of William (Cody), Alisha, Tiffany, and Ethan.

Surviving siblings are her sister, Doris Merrow, of Cottondale, Florida; her brother, Donald Davison, of South Londonderry, Vermont; her brother, Dennis Davison, of South Londonderry, Vermont; and her brother, Douglas Davison, of Bennington, Vermont.  Charlotte was predeceased by her sister Beverly Cobb, of South Londonderry, Vermont.

Charlotte is remembered and cherished by her many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

The scripture, "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ." was the legacy she passed down to her children.  She always believed that we should be compassionate, loving, and extend mercy, even though, we might be undeserving.  God loved us, so we should love others.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Grace and Glory Christian School, 929 Main Street, Chipley, Florida 32428.

The family wished to extend their gratitude to the Washington Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for the exceptional care and support provided while Charlotte was a resident of the facility.
