Charles "Edward" Ricks, age 96, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Clermont Health and Rehab Center in Clermont, FL. He was born in St. Augustine, FL on December 3, 1925 to James David and Ada "Carter" Ricks. Mr. Ricks was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Blue Lake Baptist Church.

Edward is preceded in death by his parents and one step daughter, Wanda Sue Lunsford, one sister, Melba Ricks. He is survived by his wife, Margie (Sasser) Ricks, 2 sons; Charles Benning Ricks and wife Susan and Eddie Ricks and wife Connie, 2 daughters; Jenny Lou, Patsy Ruth,  2 step daughters, Barbara Ann Loyed and husband Roger, Betty Jean Petno and husband John, 2 brothers; Jesse Ricks and Bobby Ricks, and sister; Dorothy Ricks.

Mr. Ricks funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Blue Lake Baptist Church with Reverend Rich Smelser officiating. Interment will follow in the Blue Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
