IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charlene Lynn
Pitts
April 1, 1963 – March 4, 2025
Charlene Lynn Pitts, 61, of Marianna, FL, passed away into the arms of her loving Lord and Savior on March 4, 2025 in Dothan, AL. She was born on April 1, 1963 in Bainbridge, GA.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents Barron (Barry) Faircloth and Daisy Faye (Alford) Faircloth. She is survived by her loving husband Richmond Pitts, her two daughters, Rebecca and husband Lee Bigham, Brittney Beasley, a step daughter, Dara and husband Jeff Taylor and step mother Susan Faircloth, half-brother Jonathan Faircloth, and half-sister Michelle Clemons. She had eight grandchildren, Ava, Jolee, and Wrenlee Bigham, Bryce and Hailey Lambeth (and great granddaughter Blakely), Rezaria, Reziyah and Jaceton and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
Lynn was a wonderful example of a virtuous woman as described in Proverbs 31 (incredibly valued, trusted by her husband, hardworking, kind, wise, and deeply devoted to God).
Lynn and Richmond's life was devoted around God and family. They were blessed and loved taking care of their granddaughter Jolee in her first few years of life while Mom and Dad both worked full time. Before their granddaughter Wrenlee was born, they sold their home in Clarksville, FL and bought land and built a home close to their daughter Becca, her husband Lee and their children. They also kept Wrenlee for her first year. Lynn also enjoyed spending time with her extended families and will be remembered for the joy and laughter she brought to family and friends. She loved the simple things in life, but the main thing was her family. They made her whole world go around
She was a beautiful soul, a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. The love she poured out for her family and friends was noticed by everyone that knew her. Anyone who knew Lynn knew just how big her heart was, she cared and helped people. Our loss is the Lord's gain, and he gained the best angel and she will remain forever in our hearts.
A celebration of her life will be held at Calvary Church in Chattahoochee, FL on March 10, 2025. Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm (EST) to 3:00 pm (EST), with funeral to follow. Services will be performed by Reverend Bill Mayo. Internment will immediately follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Chattahoochee, FL. Professional services entrusted to Brown's Funeral Home of Chipley, FL.
