Cecil Eugene Taylor, age 87 of Fruitland Park, FL passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014 in Leesburg, FL. Cecil was born on November 19, 1926 to the late Willie and Leaty (Hicks) Taylor in Fort Pierce, FL. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and several other Armed Services and retired after 26 years of service. Cecil was also a member of the Woodman of The World and the Orion Masonic Lodge #40. Along with his parents, Cecil is preceded in death by his daughter, Theresa Lynn Taylor. Survivors include, his wife, Myrtice Taylor of Fruitland Park, FL and one son, Cecil Green and wife Sandra Elizabeth of Paisley, FL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with visitation beginning one hour prior. Reverend Bobby Pletcher will be officiating the service. Interment will follow at the Ferguson Cemetery of Wausau, FL with Brown Funeral Home directing.
