Obituary
Cecil C. Miner, age 77 of Vernon, FL went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 30, 2016. He was born on March 28, 1939 to the late Robert Bigelow and Sallie Marie Brock in Washington County, FL.
Cecil served his country in the United States Army and after serving went to work for AT&T where he worked until retirement.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Penny Miner. Survivors include, his loving wife, Diane Miner of Vernon, FL, one son, Timothy Miner and wife Mary Elizabeth of Sunny Hills, FL, one sister, Jimmie Nell Williams of Graceville, FL, two grandsons, Justin Charles Miner and Cody Lee Miner, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a Memorial Service in Cecil's honor on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home at 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family request all donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Memorialization will be by cremation.
